Privacy Policy for StillOpen

This Privacy Policy explains how Laith Bader ("we", "us") handles your information in the StillOpen mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

The App stores all of your data locally on your device only. There is no account or sign-in, no server, and no cloud sync. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information, and the App has no analytics or crash reporting of any kind. Your data never leaves your device except where you explicitly export it yourself (the App's built-in CSV and JSON export).

Purchases

The App offers one optional, non-consumable in-app purchase (StillOpen Complete). Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details, billing address, or any other payment information. Google's handling of payment information is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

Analytics and advertising

The App does not use analytics services, advertising networks, or third-party tracking of any kind.

Permissions

The App requests the following optional device permissions:

• Contacts (read-only): requested only if you deliberately tap to match an open item to a contact's name and photo. This lookup happens entirely on your device; your contacts are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored anywhere outside the App. The App works fully without granting this permission.
• Notifications: used to show a single daily digest notification about your oldest open item, generated entirely on-device from your own data. No notification content is sent to or generated by any server.
• Clipboard: read only when you tap the Paste button in the quick-add sheet. The App never reads the clipboard on its own -- not when it opens, not when you switch back to it. This read happens entirely on your device. The clipboard's contents are never stored or transmitted, and nothing is added to your ledger unless you go on to save the entry that Paste text becomes.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention and deletion

Because your data is stored only on your device, uninstalling the App permanently removes it. You can also delete individual items from within the App at any time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
